Recently I was studying Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” The Lord revealed principles in this verse that has given clear direction in raising my children for the glory of God.
I was reflecting on Easter and I get so excited when I realize that more than 800 – 1,000 years before Christ, prophecy told about Him. I have been told that the Bible was just written by a group of men.
It is critical that we help students understand the pressing necessity of reaching the world with the gospel. What are some ways that we can do this? I think it’s good to start small and build. Here are four quick ideas.

The last three posts have offered us some practical ideas on working with students in this touchy area. I’d like to end the series by asking youth leaders and parents to do something very hard.
HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE
Last week we continued four part series on purity. It’s something that every kid (and adult) needs to hear. I gave just one piece of advice last week. When you see someone and you know they are attractive BOUNCE YOUR EYES away from them.
This week we need to look at lust from the standpoint of our minds. The eyes were a good start because without putting lustful images in front of our eyes, we begin to get them off of our minds.
